buy a truck

I am looking for a truck that can hold a motorcycle, looking for something that can survive Denver winters and be 4 Wheel drive. =)

Decided this is no longer a priority. More of a want than anything at this point. I’d rather focus on my financial objectives right now and complete this goal a little later.

old stickshift 4 banger as long as it has AC (I do live in AZ, AC is not a luxury here). The cheaper the better. I’m only going to use it to get to work and school for a year while I have the ignition interlock. It’ll keep miles of my car for 12 months, probably save on gas, and keep people from messing around with my Volvo’s electrical system. Sounds like a winning plan, just have to get that DL 1st…

I want to buy a nice new pickup truck with my own money and my own good credit.

Gave up and bought a Hybrid Civic instead.

We want a Chevy Silverado. Been planning it for a year. Hopefully we will have it within the next 6 months. :)

owning a truck is becoming a neccessity for me. I work north of Fort McMurray, Alberta and drive some fairly rugged roads. I have 3 “homes” that I am at depending on my work schedule and time of year. Plus, with my love of Nature and being outside, and my love of photography, I tend to travel a lot. This is a goal worth completing as it will make a big difference towards quality of life.

We bought our bosses van for $1 and got it running. I’m not sure if it’d do well on the highway yet (still need to put in a new fuel filter) but it gets us to town and back and can hold a lot of stuff.
