    Goslar21 bugger...

Yeah, I saw this… Pretty bloody good, but not really what I was expecting… I went to see a slasher… I ended up seeing a musical… probably the best musical I’ve ever seen though. I think the end (dispite being a bit tear-jerky) could have been better, going to the next day or something, for how ever short a time. I say this because I feel we left a few things up in the air… the thing that really annoyed me is that we didn’t see what happened to Anthony and Johanna… it was just “I’ll get a carriage” and we don’t hear of them for the remainder of the film. as for the end… ah, irony… this movie is about how revenge eats itself up…

I’m not so sure I want to do this anymore cuz the person I was gonna watch it with isn’t really talking to me that much anymore, and I don’t want to watch it alone…. grrness…. i think I’m giving up, maybe. but i’ll keep this up, just in case.

Not quite what I expected, but much to my liking.
I expected a musical, with songs that stay in your head forever, the way musical songs do. But the songs were more like talking or storytelling, only in a musical way.
It was very theatrical, very Burton, very nice. I want to see it again.

I just watched it... 17 months ago

Online, and possibly illegally. I’m not sure how the technicalities of that sort of thing work.

Anyhow, all I can say its “Wow”. Just “Wow”.

The ending surprised me…even if it wasn’t really outside of what I was expecting. I admittedly got a bit sniffly.

I am soooo getting this on DVD.

I’m a big Tim Burton fan and the combination of Burton and Depp can’t go wrong. Add Alan Rickman and Helen Bonham Carter and I really can’t wait to go and see it. The movie is not in theatres here yet, so I’ll have to be patient a little longer…

Trees are Green is back, after a long absence.

    loved, loved, loved it!

    wow.

    :D

although, i do remember him saying in an interview that he was only going to make films that his kids could watch…

but i guess working with tim overrules that.

    wow.

    :D

The movie version, although I certainly wouldn't mind seeing the stage version. 17 months ago

I am stupidly fond of Tim Burton movies, and pretty much anything that has Johnny Depp in it.

I’ve heard it turned out a lot better than expected…but unfortunately, it didn’t come to the theaters here. It seems like a lot of movies don’t…

Anyhow, I’ll probably have to wait until it comes out on video, since I can’t really afford to drive to another town just to see a movie.

Then again, I totally would for Rocky Horror.
