I just cut up a nectarine for today, and thought, gosh, this is now part of my routine: keeping fruit on hand so that I can eat one fruit a day. I have no idea whose goal this was to begin with, but it’s proven a really good one for me.

Now that I’m on this diet, I’m looking for healthy snacks. My favorite snacks are the soy chips, ranch-flavored. But fruit is another easy choice. Who knew?

I bought a massive amount of fruit, and it’s sitting on my dining room table. The past several days I eat a late lunch, and then eat fruit for dinner. It’s worked very well so far.

So far, I’ve eaten one cherry.
Hopefully I’ll eat some more in about an hour as dessert.

Every day I try to cut up some fruit and leave it out on the cutting board in the kitchen. Bit by bit I eat it.
It’s worked almost all week long. I just have to keep at it.

I’m not eating one fruit a day. Darn.
I did eat a piece of fruit yesterday. I will try to work one in this afternoon. Am I too busy for nectarines? No….it’s just that they’re not usually what I reach for.

bought a bunch of semi-ripe nectarines. They look very good. I will cut up one right now, and munch through the usually-starving afternoon hours on fresh fruit. A good way to begin!

Not so simple. I actually took this from “eat one salad and one fruit a day.” I don’t seem to be able to do both. I will set it as a goal for this week and see what happens.
