How to speak in tongues

 "Do it with those that already know how to do it."
How I did it: My parents helped me and my siblings do this. They prayed with us and we invited the Holy Spirit into us and just started praying in English first. Then it just changed into my prayer language. After that, the more you do it the easier it is. Lessons & tips: - have someone help you who can already speak in tongues |

How I did it: I learned about the Holy Spirit first so I knew about the different gifts He imparts to people. Speaking in a tongue for interpretation is different than praying in tongues. Humans come cable ready to do this. You don’t have to “import” any spiritual software. Linguists call it primal speech. Look at Romans 8:26-28. Best to have one or two people praying with you who are familiar with it. Let yourself fall into a relaxed “altered state.” Get in touch with your thoughts and feelings which you don’t understand and let them come out as sounds. Don’t whisper; actually let yourself vocalize. Find a tone in your throat that is right at the middle of your range; your “natural hum.” Invite God’s Spirit to pray through you. Don’t get discouraged or self conscious. Everyone can do this.

Totally worth it. It brings you into a closer relationship with God. It is both easy and hard, because you have to surrender to the spirit but once you start it is easy to do. Dont give up, as you are to “earnestly seek all gifts”

A beautiful gift from our Father.When we speake in tongues we praise our Lord and Redeemer Jesus.
When you pray, Ask to be filled with the holy ghost and continue praising Jesus silently, when you feel the power open your mouth and the words flow out.

This is a very precious gift to me.. A part of my heart and my soul… I have many languages.. God blessed me with the gift of discernment the gift of prayer… I know not everyone believes the way I do.. THat is okay… I will not force my belief on you.. I will respect your personal belief… what ever it may be…
