grow something

today i am going to look for something i can grow. i’m thinking about just a plant, i’m going to ask my step mom and see what she thinks. but hopefully i can buy something today.

I’ve got a bit of a black thumb so I haven’t been very successful at growing anything, but I want to try once more! I have two nice hanging baskets at home I just need some plants to go in them. After payday next week I’ll head to the garden store and see what I can find.

I planted a pot of tomatoes and another of pansies which sit on my living room windowsill. The tomatoes have started to sprout after 1 week or so and a couple of days later there’s signs of the pansies! Woohoo!

I planted some tomato seeds and pansy seeds in a couple of pots which are now sitting on the window sill. Cannot wait till I start to see some progress!!!

like a pretty plant or a cool one like a bonsai tree again or minnie roses or “forget-me-not’s” or even better TRY TO FIND AND GROW BLUE ROSES!!!! I SHOULD PROBABLY DO THIS WHEN I GET TO N. CAROLINA!

The tomato plants have little flowers! This is a very good sign.

I’m doing a bit of a cheat to start. I bought tiny plants and will try my hand at keeping something alive rather than jumping in to growing from seeds.

Today I transplanted a few herbs in pots on my deck. I think it will be hard to kill them. I am also going to try tomato plants in pots. I must have read up on it for over an hour, then just ignored it all and did what I would have done in the first place. Time will tell.

An attempt. This tiny garden contains Basil, Oregano and Italian Parsley.

A while back a friend and I decided that we wanted to grow something so we went and got wheatgrass seeds from a health shop and planted them in trays in our kitchen. The coolest thing was that it grows so quickly so we could literally see the progress “our kids” were making on a daily basis! Dont think wheatgrass has ever gotten so much love and attention!

going to wander around bachmans for a while. this will be my christmas present.
