hang art on the walls

I redid my room 4 months ago, and still haven’t put anything on the walls.

I’ve been meaning to get a canvas print of one of my photos, but I keep putting it off. I’ve started to print & frame some photos here at home, but I can’t seem to keep the layout of my room the same long enough for me to figure out good places to hang photos!

Clearly, I have commitment issues!

I’ve already got a bunch of my brother’s art up in the living room and dining room area, so that part’s done at least, but in the bedroom I still have a lot of white space on the walls. And it’s not like I don’t have things I want to hang; I just haven’t gotten around to it yet. I hung some of my own pictures a couple of months ago and that helps a lot, but I also want to mount and hang some vintage fabric on one wall, some more photographs (by me and by others) on another wall as soon as some space opens up by getting rid of a piece of furniture, and a couple of pictures I got from various thrift/antique stores elsewhere.

Finally got around to hanging artwork in my room :)
I will hang more eventually but for right now i gave a bunch of my artwork to my boyfriend who wants to hang it at his place :).

After the great bedroom fiasco and makeover, we still hadn’t put the art back on the walls. It’s been months. No, over a year. It’s been in the right vicinity, but leaning there rather than nailed.

Today we got out the stud finder (not that I need one, nudgenudgewinkwink) and after I gave them a good polishing, up they went.

Very nice.

I’ve hung the iris watercolour Paul’s birth mom painted (and said she wanted me to have) on the pale lilac wall in Isak’s room. Lovely.

I have a couple more ready to go up, but we need some mid-length nails, so they’re leaning where they’ll be put up.

SO i started painting this picture of the chinese culture and i like the way its turning out, so this might actually be my first art work that will be hung up in my room :)

Well being an artist I love art.. but for some reason i never hang any of my artwork up. I guess i’m just looking for the perfect piece of art to hang up :)

printed pictures of the kids I took on vacation at the beach, got frames for them at the same time and now can hang them on the wall

I’m marking this as done. There are still a few to go up, but there is definitely a smattering of different art pieces on the walls now. We nailed the angel this afternoon (will we go to hell for that?). Deck the walls with artistic folly… SO much better now…

I’ve gotten one of my photos from my Rome trip blown up and framed. Finally I’ve gotten it on the wall. Now its time to find additional art to hang on my bare walls. I’ve gotten my Ramones s/t album and the Beatles “Rubber Soul” framed, but no where to put ‘em given my new arrangement… must figure this out.
