buy a townhouse

or a house whichever comes first… this is my goal by next year

I just believe that paying for something every month that you don’t own is useless… with an apartment, you pay years after years and at the end you can’t even invest in it and it’s such a temporary placement of your life… with a house you can build a foundation and invest in the future or even right away. And I need more room and a small backyard for my son to run around.

But man, buying real estate in Vancouver is sooooooooooooooooo expensive…will the market correction happen soon???

Keep on reminding myself not to be impulsive…We got mortgage pre-approval but still need to save more down payment. I don’t want to kill all of the fun stuff in my life, so the best hope is to get ready by early 2008, and get a TH in spring, move in to it in the middle of 2008. Hope so…March 2008 will be the 3rd wedding anniversary also my hubby’s birthday!
