I’m better with shoes that have low or chunky heels on them, or perhaps wide but skinny ones, because then I can balance better. I start getting a bit nervous when the heels are stilettos that are more than 2 1/2”; my feet are small, I’m a little clumsy and I’m scared that I might topple over or sprain an ankle. I’ll leave the high heels for special occasions and go with kitten heels if needed on less than very special days.

    Done! :)

Doesn’t mean that I’d stop wearing my flip-flops or trainers, though. Comfy flat shoes are still the best!

oh yes I can do this. I have some rather beautiful shoes too, I think I need to buy some high heeled boots now, now that would be interesting.. Ah well start saving then I suppose (am a UK size 5 incase anyones feeling generous…)

ok am doing well with this 2 years ago

but I’m wondering if I need lower heels.. I mean 5ft2” against 5ft8”? You know I don’t want to the same height do I? But still its the very fact that I won’t actually fall over, or maybe I just won’t be doing that much walking, and he will have to drive.

Anyway I could do with being a bit more chic maybe… Ah bugger it, chic? moi? hardly! Well I do what I do, I think it suits me anyway, but I could do that in heels…

    practice 2 years ago

There are several pairs of high heels here at home which are my sister’s and my mom’s. They’re all a size bigger, but I think I can use them to practice walking.

I’ll eventually get my own pair. :)

Am going shopping on saturday 2 years ago

I am going to go to cardiff, am on a bit of a mission, have something fabulous in mind, with regards to shoes, well boots really, and I need some new clothes too. But I am so buying some heels, have to, not too high though. Just high enough…

    heels 2 years ago

I first learned how to walk in high heels when I was about 12 years old. I wore them a lot when I was a teenager and then I stopped wearing them after a while. I recently started wearing high heels again and I got used to them quickly. It feels like I take shorter steps in heels as compared to flats though. I now always notice people who run and dance in heels and wonder how do they do it. I think the right pair of heels will make anyone’s legs look extra sexy…

    Heels suck 2 years ago

They hurt my feet. They look silly. I like wearing flats and being able to skip and jump and do cartwheels whenever I like.

I bought shoes today and they were sneakers. Pretty pretty Asics Whizzer Lo’s, sort of like the ones here, but the stripes at the sides are brown and yellow.

Not exactly a step in the right direction…

But they were pretty and on sale! :D

    shorty 2 years ago

I’m a short girl. I don’t know why I never learned to wear heels. Considering how much I like shoes and how much I like giving myself nice pedicures, it’s about time I add this to my list of things I can do.
