Read in French

okay, so technically, i am french… i don’t sound french, i have never really lived in france, but, that’s just how it is… my citizenship and only citizenship is French… and i would never give it up nor do i particularly want another citizenship… I understand french and speak is pretty much fluently, but reading just takes concentration… and that’s what always puts me off…

as a plan to improve my french (also on the list)... reading in French is the key…

i read metisse blanche by kim lefevre as part of my french honors thesis in college, so i’m going to start reading french again with this book. i recall liking it a lot, as well as l’amant by marguerite duras (though the movie was downright awful). so i’ll start with things i remember liking and go from there.
