I try to be conscious of how I look in the eyes of my kids. I now leave the room when I have my mad face until I can deal with something naughty in a calm manner. I do not like to be out of control, scream, yell and hit which was common in older generations. I expect them to respect me, listen, and mind, but in such a way that it doesnt squash their spirit.

I want to enjoy them the way I couldnt when I worked all the time. Im so happy to have the luxury of staying home and I intend to think of new and positive ways of doing that everyday. We go for walks in the park, riding our bikes, swimming, going boating in the lakes, having lots of family fun in MT. 6 years ago
