Today is a hard day. I’m tired and don’t feel well and want to make it all better. Sugar or chocolate was my treat to make all things well, but now without my addiction…

I was recently able to really cut back on sugar to lose weight but as soon as the weight was gone, I reintroduced sugar to my diet. It makes me feel tired, lazy and groggy so I don’t even know why I’d want it? It’s just a stupid addiction and I’m not going to let something as silly as that interfere with the the quality of my life by making me fat and tired. Duces dulce!

I think it’s the nemesis of growing up. When i have sugar nowadays, i get sluggy quite fast and my body just feels odd. I stopped putting sugar in my drinks, so no more coffee (not sure how i feel about that – even though it’s decaf! i like the taste of coffee) and plain tea. Lots of water. No juices.
I have weaknesses – nougat is one. But i think after binging on a whole bag last month, i’m sick of it. For now.
Even cakes are losing their appeal too… It’s like the case of the body snatchers! horrors
I have weight issues and want to quit sugar as the 1st step to losing weight. I eat too many chocolates as i am a depressant eater.

One day I woke up and wanter to see how its like giving up sugar in tea, coffee and all hot drinks that need it…
Was hard at the beginning but now things taste different… Coffee is amazing and I tried it once with sugar couldnt even swallow it :)

so far so good however I don’t know how long that’s going to last for.
I’ve decided to quit sugar for good. I’ve been trying to
loose weight for a long time now but its really hard because I’m addicted to sugar so from tomorrow I’m going
to eliminate sugar from my diet.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a strange relationship with sugar. My birthday is this Thursday and I really want to give it up right after. Eventually I want to be able to give up artificial sweetner too, but one thing at a time. Right now, I’m going to focus on the refined sugar, the really sugary foods – ice cream, cookies, etc. Then I’ll probably go on to give up other sugars that are more hidden – some salsa have added sugar, some soups, etc – eventually I want to be able to have completely pure good foods with nothing added, at least no sugar!!! Its going to be hard. Knowing others have done it makes me feel lots better. Each day is its own battle I guess.:)
