How to go for a bike ride

How I did it: I took the bike out of the shed and just got on and cycled. It is one of those things that I just never found time to do and I kept thinking once I have done some walking and got a little fitter I will do it but that is so silly. I will try and go a little further tomorrow. Lessons & tips: It doesn't matter how unfit you are everyone can go for a small cylce. |

How I did it: The weather on Sunday was absolutely perfect so I decided to borrow my mums bike and go on a bike ride. Then she decided she wanted to go too, so she borrowed my dads bike :) It was a beautiful ride through the country roads and I'm really pleased I picked that day to go. Read how I did it…

This will be a bit of a challenge seeing as I don’t have a bike! However, I am planning to buy one and look forward to setting off on a bike ride and seeing where I end up. And if I can find the way home again!

apart from the stationery exercise bikes, this toosh ain’t seen the seat of a bike in forever. They have hire bikes that you can ride around centennial park (http://www.cp.nsw.gov.au/) and that is my goal! woohoo x
Sitting around worrying about insomnia sounded like a bad idea, so I pumped up the tires on my bike, put my birdwatching field guide and binoculars in my bag and headed to Lake Monger. A dawn ride turned into a two hour walk around the lake and a huge list of birds spotted for the day. Great morning!

I have always taken good care of my bike, but, since college, it has remained in the basement (with some festive ribbons on it) and now the tires are flat. I think it was brought to my attention at some point there might have been a hole in one.
Got to get the bike to the shop to have it looked at and tuned up. Then, since they opened a FAB bike/running trail right down the street from me, I am going to go for a bike ride. .maybe a few. .this summer.
I could even get my boyfriend to come. . he might be able to ride my brother’s bike. . .but. .that would mean 2 tune ups. AHH!. Well, time to get crackin’!
