We would look for a carribean friend to find a possibility to come to Europe on a sailing boat in spring/early summer and go back later the year before winter. The way back to the Carribean, surely on a different boat, is also needed. Possibly not more than 3 months later because of the Visa. In the meantime he would stay with the family close to Munich and experience Europe a bit.
He´s very reliable in staying awake the whole night, a person with good discipline and used to work hard, and experienced in many kinds of mechanical boat work from the Carriacou Hall Out in Tyrrel Bay and I tell you, it´s much fun with him!
He saved my life at least once. My Guardian Angel. We know him for more than 10 years now.
Besides he´s an advanced sailor and chief in the kitchen, of course Creole cooking, but as a Carribean lokal he has no sailing certificate. Language is some sort of English.
We would pick him up anywhere in Europe with a good flight connection to Munich, Germany
and drop him again right in time for the trip back.
Maybe I would come along as a paying guest on the back trip.
Please ask for further information, if requested. Looking forward to your offers.
Bettina

paulpascuzzi is starting a new adventure in Portland Oregon. Just moved up from Cal
I have had this thought ever since high school, I would love to get a nice boat around $60,000+ and sail across the atlantic. The trip will be for about 6 or seven months or untill I want to go back to the states…. who knows how long. I want some of my best friends to come and stay onboard in Greece for a week or so, or Italy or anywhere I happen to be at the time. I don’t plan too much in advance but this one will be done right. I know nothing and need to figure it all out. Set sail in abourt 6 years or sooner preferably when the market comes back and housing prices are at there best.
Paul.

Growing up on the East coast and while living in Northern Africa I keep thinking about how amazing it would be to traverse the Atlantic by sailing. I’m open to crewing on another ship, but ideally I would like to buy a 40 footer and have 1-3 other friends along. If I really enjoyed the trip, pretty safe bet, I would probably want to upgrade this goal to sailing around the world. I love sailing and I love exploring other parts of the world, just makes sense.

Hi, I am Venezuelan, currently doing a PhD between Tromsø-Norway and Brest-France. I discovered the possibility of learning about sailing. I have been doing courses and short sailing trips since March. I am looking for the possibility of sailing back home to Venezuela. I have two periods where I could travel: currently November/December or April 2009.
I have very little sailing experience so far. However, I am used to be at the sea, to perform activities in Nature and to work in teams.
If you need or know of somebody who would be interested in completing the crew for a trip during these periods’ pleas contact me: Andreia, andreiaplaza@hotmail.com 0033 668627218
Gracias…
Andreia.

I don’t want a fantasy cruise. No, I want the old fashioned QEII or even better, titanic cruise (without the iceberg of course!) I see it as a chance to slow down and have the experience of taking time to travel where even the process of travel is an experience, not just a destination.

If you are going to sail, Europe is the place to go. I would especially like to sail the coast of Italy.
