First I joined an indoor volleyball “train and play” league, and then from there, I joined an outdoor beach volleyball “train and play” league with Urban Rec. I really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun. This year I’m going to try playing on an actual team. 12 months ago

beach volleyball is probablly the best thing on this planet!!! if you love the beach and you love volleyball then take what you have a run with it!! i would play this sprot for the rest of my life if my body permits it!! 5 years ago

I love this sport. Competitive, engaging and so much fun. Easy on the joints, too, which means it can be a lifelong pursuit. I play regularly at an indoor sand court in New York City year round. It was pouring rain while our foursome spiked, blocked and dug our way the morning hours before heading to our jobs! And if you need an excuse to get to the beach regularly in the summertime, you won’t find many better than beach volleyball. 6 years ago
