ScorpioNerve is bound for the ocean this summer! and hoping her son will be OK
maybe if I don’t make it an official goal, it will happen?

toodleberg back home...
helloooooo…have been averaging every couple of days since setting this goal…talked to her last night and really didn’t have much to converse about…but we’re keeping the lines of communication open
I now live only 90 miles away from her. I try to visit about once a month. I definitely worry if I don’t get to talk to her at least biweekly.

I don’t think a backache is a good excuse, either. If I grew up with her I wonder if I’d be so shy about it- I feel like I know her well when I get her on the phone, but dialing that number is hard!
we talk almost every morning around 8:30am after she has dropped off her son at school. We then talk usually again during the day. She is one of my very closest friends and I love her very much. I love the fact that even though she lives 2 hours away, we are very close.

I did it, she’s fabulous!

She’s fabulous- I need to do it again soon!
i added this as a goal, i think i have called her less. hmmm… this seems to be working in reverse. Of course, i do see her online more now, particularly as she is on this website. online conversation is just not the same though… think i will call her now.
Although I am 2 years older than my little sister and we had our rough patches in high school, my sister is one of my closest and dearest friends. I admire her, cherish her and sometimes even want to emulate her, while always maintaining my own identity. She has a unique insight and while I don’t always use her advice (or even want to hear it), I do always appreciate it. I am glad to have her as my sister and even prouder to call her friend.
