Last Summer 2006 My Husband and I spent every weekend and one week of vacation back home where I grew up on LBI NJ. We found our first piece of sea glass and it quickly became an addiction there after. We remembered finding pieces when we were kids living there – picking them up thinking they were cool and probably tossing it back. If we only would have saved them!
Anyway, it is cool to fine the pieces - as none of them are the same. It gets you out and walking, enjoying the sea and the sun - a great hobby all together. Can't wait to get back down to the shore today.

i have a vast collection of sea glass, in all different shapes, sizes and colors… lucky for me that i have grown up on the westcoast and hardly a week goes by that i am not at a beach of some sort. my sea glass collection makes beautiful decorations simply piled in a clear jar… and i’ve also made jewellery and other craft projects out of it. if anyone is interested in collecting sea glass, or expanding their own collection, i would be happy to mail them some westcoast sea glass..! perhaps we could even arrange a sea glass swap..?
