How I did it: Okay so I had a macbook and it was old. It was intel based but not a core 2 duo. Just a core duo. And I had had it for about 2 years and 4 months. One day I crashed my bike and broke it. I had apple care but apple wanted $750 to fix it. So i just said fuck it not paying to fix and old piece of poo and got a credit card and bought a new imac. 24 inch 3.06 C2D. 8800GTs. 2GB of ram. 500GB hard drive ect...
it was going to be $2300ish but I got it for $1993.95
It was worth it. Apple gave me a credit card to. No payments for 3 months and a year of free intrust.

It should arrive next week. I’m planning on removing the TV, DVD, and VCR from the living room and replacing it with the new iMac.

It’s going to be a while before it arrives, but I’m ridiculously excited about it, even by my standards. The reason I wanted to get it really comes down to the new Front Row app that turns your computer into a juke box and a television. Combined with the power of my projector and stereo, I’ll be invincible!
I’m thinking about wall-mounting it. It could sort of camouflage in with the salon-style painting wall.
