I got this book a long time ago. It’s designed to help you get in shape to surf. Wow it’s a hard work out but worth it even if I end up not surfing any more next year than I did this year.

Maybe I can arrange some more time at the beach next year. I need to think flexibly when my boss asks me next week about my “compensation package” at my review. “More vacation” seems like valid compensation, and if I start saving now I can use the time to surf!

...is that I live 120 miles away from the nearest beach. I want to do this but I’m not sure how achievable it is given geography and this pesky need to work for a living.

i really want to surf more often!!
do you get that your goals kind of have something to do with eachother?
like. if i had my drivers licence i could go surfing more often because it would be easier to get there!

Now that it is summer I have been surfing a lot more. My girlfriend also just bought a surfboard so we go together, it is fantastic!!!
I used to surf nearly every day back in high school and college. I graduated, got a job, married a great lady, and had kids. Needless to say, I didn’t make enough time for the hobbies that I loved. The last three years I have started to MAKE TIME for ME. I started a surfing blog, http://www.coastalsurfing.com , bought a long board and a fish, and am really making an attempt of getting out a few times a week.
I tried this out this summer and it was great! Only problem is I’m moving north in a few months so I dunno how I’m going to feel about surfing in the cold. I still really want to do it though so I guess I’ll just have to bite the bullet.
i want to be able to surf nearly every day. to start the day watching the sunrise over the ocean and to finish the day watching the sunset behind the hills. i want to buy a mal, 9’1 i reckon and to be able to hang ten, ride backwards and all that jazz…
the best connection between human beings and nature…full of magic….I started surfing after my first daughter was born when I was 23 and I thought at that time…why I didn’t do it long time ago?
