i have ugly nails, so i really want a manicure :)
I’m 26 and never had a manicure. Ok, this is not so important but I’m ashamed of my hands. The reason I’ve put it off is because my cuticles are in such a deplorable state that I’m embarrassed.
I’m planning to go to the salon to get a haircut and will have a manicure by the way.
My friend, who is never to be seen without her fire engine red nails, recommended a place near my work that advertised a mani and pedi for $30, which is a steal in my city. The place is a tiny 2nd floor studio run by a husband and wife who doted on me hand and foot and didn’t mind me waiting out a sudden rainstorm. Getting my nails done is one of the few times I can relax and focus positively on myself, which is something I have a hard time doing.

YAY mission accomplished, it first starte off with a bit of cuticle pushing back stuff (ointment) and then she cut off and pushed them back, then i was really surprised and i dont mean to sound really pedantic but i did expect a hand massage but she just told me to “rub it in”
oh well i knew i should’ve gone for this other one it cost $35, $10 bucks more than the one i got, it doesnt matter.
so maybe ill just get my own kit so it saves extra for when i need that pick me up on my hands.
and besides that i got heaps of good tips for my skin which i needed like if i moisturised more often on my healing scar it’ll dissapear!! exiting i could use it for the rest of my body.
