it wasn’t a conscious decision. instead, my computer doesn’t handle the game too well, and i feel too left out now that i’m about 3 expansion packs behind, so i don’t feel compelled anymore.
of course, when the Sims THREE comes out…
but it really takes a lot of time. I used to play for hours on end, but now I only play maybe an hour or 2 a week when I’m bored.
I totally do NOT play as much anymore. I’m thinking of purchasing the new upgraded packs though…...
I have had a sim free weekend, that is if you don’t count my downloads and forum checking. This is difficult for me but I can’t seem to play the sims 2 for less than 4 hours or so at a time. My sims have more of a life than I do! Wish me luck!
I now play only on weekends, if I feel like it.
The game gave me a life altering thought that keeps popping up in my mind. Anf adult turned elder of mine got the following comment: “You had a mediocre life.”.......I’m thinking, what the….after all I’ve done. I do NOT want that comment to apply to me in real life!
i’m officially 2 weeks sim-less….
...but i have yet to install the new expansion pack. trying to stay strong. haha
I got the Nightlife expansion, but my computer parts don’t meet the system requirements. Now I can’t add new furniture or go downtown without my computer freezing. I am starting to play Sims again, letting each Sim meet others and find out who they have the best chemistry with.
New features I noticed:
-Tired Sims at the dinner table have their face fall into the plate of food!
-Babies are more animated with their arms
I want to play Sims with pure fate by living their wants and needs, and then see how they live their life. Here I go again….
i wouldn’t be so addicted to this game if i wasn’t so attached to my sims. but i created my own neighborhood in which i placed characters from a story i wrote. i don’t know how to let them go.
