I’ve always wanted to do this. My husband and I wanted to go together before our wedding, but the timing wasn’t very good and I had so much to do that it just wasn’t a priority. I’m debating buying a membership to the local spa simply because they have seat sales every week where you can get a last-minute appointment for about half the cost of the service. The only catch is that it’s at a set time during a workday and you have to be a member. Since I have every other Monday off though, I could totally do this, and going even 3 times in a year would have the membership pay for itself (plus you get a free scalp massage for your birthday!)

How I did it: Paid my money, read my mag, they prettied my feet. French. Nice. I will try to keep this up, as I am naturally slatternly, and I think my husband likes it. He wouldn't admit to it, but I know he does. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I booked an appointment and went. I actually did it to treat myself the day of our wedding rehearsal. I took some nail polish that I had acquired awhile ago so that if I had any chips I could fix it up myself later. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Saved up and went to the nail place down the street from my house that I used to go to. Didn't shave either, so I was a hairy beast as she went to town massaging my calves. Oh, it was so worth it. Just as I remembered it could be! haha.I then remembered why I was actually there, to have pretty toes, and I walked away with that as well. I've been sticking my feet in people's range of vision as much as possible as of late. Read how I did it…

How I did it: My mom got me and my sister a girl card to a nail place for valentines day so that we could go together and both get pedicures. But i kept getting sick, and then my sister got one done with her friend so we had to wait till it got messed up. So eventually we just went because the gift card was about to expire. But it was cool. They even put a design on my nails for free (: Read how I did it…
How I did it: I went with a co-worker this past saturday to a local mall and got a pedicure at a nail salon in the mall. It was very relaxing and a sign that spring time is here. It was fun! Read how I did it…

Why do feet have to be so ugly? I live in flip flops as soon as it turns 50 degrees out and I end up getting callused heals! I hate having to spend $30 on a pedicure every 2 weeks in the summer, but I can’t stand having gross feet. I’ve even spent tons of money on all the lotions and tools to use at home and they just don’t work all that well in my opinion!

Another nail broke before my appointment and boy was that one painful! I ended up getting that fixed, my nails filled, and a hot stone pedicure.
The pedicure was cool. I loved the massage chair, the colorful scrub she massaged my calf with, the scrub brush for the bottom of my foot, and the look of my toes once she was done. I did not like the hot towels which felt awesome at first but got very cold, very fast and became mighty uncomfortable. I also did not like the hot stones which felt terrific at first but then felt as though they were scraping my skin off.
The place I had this done was well ventilated, the right temperature, the right TV channel, the right decor, and done very fast but very professionally. I’m very satisfied and will be showing off my new toes in my two new pairs of sexy black heels!

I will be doing this on April the 20th along with a fill of my nails. Hopefully none of them will break before then. I just had one fixed today.
I don’t know if I should get a fancy one or a regular one. Only time will tell!

Something I’ve always wanted to do and now that it’s the season for open shoes my toe nails are making me wince. So I’m getting them done and sod the extra expense. It’s a must in my book.
I am so going to do this. I can’t wait! I’ve never had a pedicure before and I’ve heard that they are fantastic.
