adopt kids

I really want to adopt a few kids from different countries after I buy/rent a place and get a successful job. I dont really want to get married or have birthkids and i never really did. However, I always wanted to adopt.

My reason is simple. I want kids, but I don’t want to go through the pain and the aftermath of actually birthing my own children. Plus, it spares me 9 long, fat months.

im only 19 but i know i want to adopt because my heart goes out to kids who arent loved. i want to be the one to fill their hole and in return i know part of my hole will be filled. i want to adopt two kids and im in school to be an interpreter for the deaf. so i really would like to adopt Deaf kids. theres just so much you can do for people…you are needed in this world and i feel that this is part of my calling in life….to love the unloved.

I know I’m not up to it yet, and I am still studying.. But I’ve already decided that when I’ve got two children of my own, I would like to adopt a third child.. Doesn’t matter which age or race or whatever, I just want to help a child in need..

I am 23 now, nearly 24 and plan to adopt a child (older, they often don’t find homes because everyone wants babies) anywhere from bith up to about 10. i don’t plan to get married but be a single mom and possibly adopt a sibling group or to focus on hard to place kids (deeply emotionally disturbed, depressed, PTSD issues, etc) I have gone through some really tough stuff myself so I believe I could provide a good home for a child…

One of my long-term goals is to adopt children. I know I’m not ready for it yet, and I presume it will take a lot of planning … but one day …!

yea so even though im a little young to be thinking about stuff like this, its something i’ve always wanted to do. there’s so many kids without parents out there. i wouldnt be the kind of parent that wouldnt tell the kid they were adopted or anything, i would tell them everything i know about the parents once there old enough. yes i’ve got this all planned out.

This is turtle speed. We got in touch with a couple of adoption agencies, and agreed to go with one of them that seems to have their act together—fast responses to both my phone messages and email, recieved mail sent to us within 2 days.

So, they are fast, but now I’m realizing that we have to take this a month at a time, there is still a lot to do. Like classes, licensing, homestudy, etc… It’s all worth it.

I’m calling a few adoption agencies today to set up an appointment. My husband and I found a website that refers children waiting to be adopted in our state. I wanted to adopt them all. But I’m willing to make some adjustments to the previous plan. Hubby really wants a son. Perhaps an older kid, preteen or teen.
