go to the Redwood forest

Desperately seeking THE REDWOOD FOREST, aka, “The Wild Trees,” as climbed by Steve & Marie, & told by Richard. Need to find the Grove of Titan. One leaf & an acorn will accompany me. I visited Redwood with my friends !!! Awesome !!!

My cousin came down before Christmas and wanted to go, so we did. Yipee!

I found us a place to stay CHEAP! Now all i have to do is figure out when the heck we want to go.

It is an amazing place. I have been through it a number of times. It was also where parts of Star Wars was filmed.

I grew up in northern California and spent many hours amongst these beauties. They are one of nature’s miracles that make you appreciate just how transient our lives are.

I saw a single one while I was at Powys Castle in Wales. That was a tall tree and had me scratching my head wondering what it could be. I looked down at the sign near the base of the tree and laughed. Afterall, I had come to another continent to see a tree from my own. I would love to see the forest of these mighty giants. I am sure I would be awestruck.

This started out as my mom’s dream…still is but I adopted it too! I can just imagine how amazing it would be. My husband and I have talked about making this trip. He’s already been once so he’s not as motivated. I trust that I’ll make it there someday.
