Organize my iTunes library (rank, info etc.)

ITS GOOD..GOT IT

I didn’t really do it all at once, but I put all the right info in my songs as I put them in iTunes as well as downloaded the album art to all of them. I did it slowly, the fun port was going through and checking which ones I liked most to put on my iPod. Once you do it, they all look like you bough them, and then you have a chance to look at the album art and be able to tell your friends exactly what you are listening to. It will be worth it.

After having about 1500 of my songs unrated I’ve finally got through all of them…mostly 1 star. Next up: The Year!

I have all the filenames and 99% of the tags done.

Now to rate songs, make many playslists, and clean out any junk!

im sick about my itunes

I was looking around for a program to automatically add lyrics to my songs with Windows, and I came up with EvilLyrics. It seems to work pretty well so far (a lot better than doing it all by hand). I have yet to see how it handles Japanese songs, though.

I’m going to go back through my music and actually add ratings for it and also clean up some stuff that got messed up since the last time I organized my library. The only thing I can’t figure out if I want to do or not is add the total number of tracks for each album. I mean, I know it’s good to have all the information, but it seems a little redundant because I only have full albums, so the last track number is the total number of songs. How is yours organized?

An instant nightmare and then just maintenance.

I got all teh info right and edited the bits that looked wierd and made sure there were capitals where there were spose to be and then checkde all the duplicates and edited those…ie the live ones which aren’t the same as studi but named the same…
