We plan on renewing our vows next year in Vegas! I’m thinking someplace romantic, like the Bellagio.

my husband and i met at a gas sation. right after I got home from Minnesota. He thought I looked like someone he knew, little did he know I was his best friends sister. We got to talking and later on he asked me out. We dated for a few years and decided to get married. We set the date then we would post pond the dates then change the dates. He had never been married, I was going into my third. so we both were a little skittish.
After all the postponing and canselations we finaley went to the justice of the piece. to say out vows. It wasn’t exactly what we wanted. But at least it was better than having a family war at the time.
Someday we will have our dream wedding, with me wearing a beautiful gown, being escourted by horse and buggy to my groom. and after the vows are said. we will dance by the light of the moon all night. then well will sneak off to out honeymoon to where only we will know the destination.

The first time you get married, you’re all worried about doing it right about the minister showing up about some crazy ex-boyfriend showing up and interuppting the ceremony.
The second time you can wake up together, kiss before the ceremony, do your own make-up and hair and make it all about the LOVE not anything else!!!
We got married 5 years ago in a court house without any of our family there. I want to do it again with our family there on a beach. I’m thinking Key West. We had a good time there. I want to do it while both of our grandmothers can be there.
I want to renew are wedding vows. We have only been married for 2 years but my husbands father was in the hospital when we got married. He had just had a bad open heart surgery so we went to justice of the peace and got married. Now that hes doing better we want to renew are vows. We wanted to have a wedding but knew he couldnt be their or his mother so we went ahead and got married. Good thing we did then because he had to have 2 more open heart surgerys after that. Like almost 6months apart. But know hes fine and we want to do it now. Dont want to wait because afraid he want ever get to see us have a wedding.
Aug.21,2008 My husband and I will share our 10 year anniversary and I would love to renew our vows. I just don’t know how. We plan on going on our very first honeymoon and when we get back I would love to surprise him by having my friend set everything up and everyone be here. I’m just not sure what I need or anything, can anyone help?
I want to renew my vows EVERY year, not a big event, just me, my husband, and our kids. There’s a few reasons why…like many other women on here, I was pregnant (3 months) at the time of our wedding and we each have a child from a previous relationship.
Also, I read an article about a couple who renewed their vows every year and I think it’s a lot more meaningful and memorable than flowers, jewelry, going to a nice dinner, etc.
And, we had the small wedding we wanted in December with about 30 of our closest family and friends in a cute little historic chapel, went to a awesome, beautiful japanese hibachi restaurant afterward, and instead of a big cake, we had individual cakes that looked like Christmas presents. But, renewing our vows each year will give us the chance to have all the options, go to Vegas (that was our 2nd choice for the type of wedding we wanted), on the beach in the Caribbean, whatever we can think of.
my wedding was alot like zarellababy I was heavily pregnant and cried my eyes out right before the wedding I had my hair done at a salon and they made it look like a birds nest, my dress hardly covered my huge twin pregnancy bump. My mom was there but other then that there was just a couple of hubbys friends, we ended up going into sainsburys supermarket to pick up food after the wedding as everyone was hungry and wanted a snack, went for a meal which was a disaster as our 2 friends started arguing, then we ended up in accident and emergency as my mom came out in a vicous rash all over her body.
I want to renew our vows but we havent even been married a year yet how long should I wait? were moving to the states next year as hubby is in the airforce really want a big wedding would next year be too soon?
My husband and I have been married almost 4 years. Over the past month, our marriage has been tested to the MAXIMUM. But, at the same time, we have learned so much about each other and about ourselves and our marriage over the past month. I love him more today than I did nearly 4 years ago when we got married. We had a traditional church wedding and reception. This October, we’re planning a trip to Ft. Walton Beach, FL (where we spent our honeymoon) and 2 of our best friend are going with us. We will have a very small vow renewal ceremony on the beach while we’re there. I had always wanted to get married in October, and we’ve been wanting to re-take our wedding photos as we are no longer associated with 3/4 of the people from our wedding party. So, this will give us a chance to. Plus, we just want to re-affirm our vows to each other (espcially after all that we’ve been through).
We were married in Vegas at 5 min to midnight by the justice of the peace, no family or friends present.
We have been together 22 years and married 18, and have three children.
The only regret of this was my family was not present, and I also would have liked to have had a bouqet of flowers, even a flower would have sufficed.
I always thought I wanted the church and reception, I recently realized I do not want that, I just want a small intimate ceremony with my family present, and the ceremony must be preformed by a minister.
As far as the reception goes a simple toast, and a small family celebration – I would like this all to take place outside in a remote location on a mountain top preferably as the sun is setting.
