The 50$ wonder computer died the day after I got home, depriving me of a needed resource when I needed it most. I wasted 2 weeks trying to fix it then gave up. It took me a month to save up for a newer one, but this one is much better. I just need a better operating system (2000 sucks!). But I haven’t addressed the problems that made the last one die, so hopefully I will.

I bought a computer with more memory and Xp Professional from the salvation Army for 50$. I had to get help to put my hard drive into it and transfer the outlook addresses and msgs and bookmarks, but this comp works way better and it cna run my anime episodes!!

We bought a better desktop! We shopped around and bought a barebones bundle, building it up ourselves and it’s definitely worth it! Then the other half got a laptop so we’re not fighting over who gets to use the computer (plus we can now game together). I just got an external hard drive in the sales too, so I can make sure everything is properly backed up.
We put off buying a decent PC because we were worried about the cost but spending a bit of time looking at what’s out there saved a lot of money.

I have a pentium 1 yes its a 200mhz POS Im running of a 10gig HD and a 64 megs of ram. I want my windows XP running again.

Well, about three weeks ago, our computer stopped functioning. As in, it wouldn’t turn on. Apparently, the “guy that updated it” pirated it. So my mother bought the full version of Windows XP professional, and we finally found out how to reinstall XP without the computer functioning.
And it works now. (:

My parents took my older computer and in exchange bought me a laptop for school….so handy!

But it is four years old, has a 10BG hard drive, and lately the screen decides to go black at random intervals.
I want to be able to play WoW on my computer, and actually be able to store my entire music collection on the hard drive.
