i read that in one day as soon as it arrived. i preordered it online and it arrived the day it was due to be in stores. I read it in one day and gave it to my dad that night. We read a lot. usually i try to read slow and enjoy it, savor it. but it was freaking harry potter dude, i had to know what happened.
How to read a book in one day.
How I did it: We were on an field trip with school for a weekend and a girl brought along a book about the correlation between birthtime and breathing. since we were going home the next day - i just had to finish in one day...
Lessons & tips: start with something easy to get, bigger concepts or something alike. nothing too fussy.
Resources: my mother who helped me to learn reading at the age of three.

i’d done this once but then decided to run it along with my read all the books before i buy another goal. Thus, the books listed here, are the ones that are in my boxes all over the flat that i have managed to read in the one day.
F. Scott Fitzgerald – The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Nothing like the film but totally enjoyable and made me think far too much about age difference, as there is a big age difference between me and Mr. Man…..mmmmmm

The Three Incestuous Sisters by Audrey Niffenegger.
Keep the Faith by Faith Evans
Boujour Tristesse by Francoise Sagan.

I visited my best friend and we had such a nice conversation about books. She lent me one – Confessions of an Economic Hitman – and said I could borrow any others if I’d like, so this might be the one I choose to read in a day. Though she said it’s dry in parts, so I’m not sure if it’s the best choice. I have been meaning to read this book anyway though. We’ll see. I expect to have the extra time soon.

I plan on doing this in celebration of the semester ending in December. Before then, I don’t think I’ll have the time or mental energy to devote to this goal. It’s going to be fun to choose what book to read!

I want to get a novel, sit down and read it all in one day, only taking a breather to attend to bodily functions, am i the only sad person who wants to follow in the footsteps of Oprah Winfrey :-)
