The easiest habit for me is the first: begin with the end in mind. That’s how I plan all of my lessons and most of my life. The hardest for me is to view problems as challenges; I usually just get frustrated. Depending upon the problem, I have even given up. Hopefully that won’t happen with my learning contract or completing these 23 things! 5 years ago

I am trying to get a feel for how these skills ENLIVEN the PROCESS of work in the library world.
How can we sort through the all this information to provide intellectual sustenance for ourselves and others?

I find that the easiest habit for me is setting the goal. I don’t always follow through to completion.

I particularly enjoyed the 24 minute documentary from Web 2.0 start up company execs. They offered insight on where we are with the internet, how it can be useful, and even fun.

Through my interactions with the patrons of my library I am impressed that the older people are very much onboard with new technology. GRAY POWER!!! 6 years ago

I believe in learning, how else are we going to make the world a better place. Ignorance, although it may be bliss, doesn’t seem to be working.

The library is the perfect place, the center, of any life long learner. Matter-of-fact, when I’m old and grey, I won’t go to a nursing home unless it has one! 6 years ago
