Long time Flickr user. I use Photobucket more often though.
How I did it: I set up a Flckr account based on my already existing yahoo account. I downloaded digital pictures from my camera, uploaded them to Flickr and organized them into collections. I still need to label and tag them. The process seems fairly user friendly...it is pretty easy to find detailed step by step instructions.
Lessons & tips: Read each step's instructions before you do it. Saves frustration.

I took the flickr tour and went through a few searches. There are a lot of interesting pictures. I didn’t sign up yet, I thought I would wait until I checked out some other sites. I know some of my friends us snap fish.
I have added some great photos of the Chess kids from school. They were successful in being joint-winners in a CEO Chess Kids tournament at Colac last week.
I’ve learnd the propr way to spel Flickr. There doesn’t appear to be a link to Flickr from the blog, so I am assuming that I am supposed to go to the Flickr site on my own, then return here to post my comments.

once you think of an image you want to look for, you can get drawn to other things. Who would have imagined that looking for photos of Vancouver Public Library would lead me once more to “The shifted Librarian”
How did I not know about this? Flickr photos would show up in Google, but I never investigated what it was.
