The wealth of information on the internet is growing exponentially. I am one of the “card catalog” people – one who still hasn’t gotten over the loss of this valuable tool. NO REALLY, let me explain…
A card catalog, for me, was useful because I could wander through it and see what books were near what I was looking at. The cards also gave you valued information about a subject you might be researching, or clues of where to look for more.
Tagging is something that also does this. I think I can now get over my loss.
