Some suggestions.
Index cards are virtually free. Better quality paper may not be better. Post cards with postage already included are available from the post-ofice.
Pre print labels and adhere ahead of time.
Defacing picture-post cards is fun. Buying old (vintage) post-cards is sometimes as inexpensive as buying new cards.
Free postcards can be found at art galleries, for raves, and as advertisements.
What counts as an “over sized” post card has changed. Oversized postcards are now the same price as a letter- or more.
All of these are correct: post-cards, postcards, and post cards.

Regardless of weather or not I get postcards in return from PostCrossing I know that the one’s that I have sent out are being appreciated
I am including my return address.
Any person on my send list from PostCrossing that doesn’t receive a card with in 3 weeks of me sending it is going to get a second another card. I’ll keep doing this for 50 days. At 60 days the address times out, so then I can replace that person on the cue.
I am sending post cards this year, regardless of how many cards I receive.
This batch of cards went to
Hungry
France
Netherlands
Finland
Japan (resend).

2 people in Finland.
1 person in Canada
1 person in Argentina
Still one waiting. If it doesn’t arrive by this Sunday, I will request 4 new addresses and send out cards. I might also send a second post card to all of the people from the first batch.

Using Post Crossing I got 5 addresses and sent off postcards from my home town. All international postcards cost 75 cents, and Canada is only 55 cents. I sent cards to Finland, Brazil, Japan, and Canada. If nothing happens in 2 weeks, I will send a second batch of cards out to them.

Goal met if I send out post cards to most of my friends.
To be done by March 31, 2007.
Part of a life long goal of keeping in touch and being creative.

I sent off my first postcard to a friend that I have not heard from in a while. It’s a small start, but it’s a start.

http://www.postcrossing.com/">PostCrossing is a web site that helps people exchange postcards. I am not sure what I am going to get out of this. I am going to send out my first card tonight. I collect old postcards, so repurposing them and sending them out again, seems like an interesting idea.
