I would run around the neighborhood on a broom making horse sounds. In the third grade I read every book about Billy the Kid and Annie Oakley. I use to believe I must have been from the mid 1800’s.
In a reincarnation class I took many years ago, I described a past life I had living in the 1800’s as Laura Hopkins, who was born in Missouri sometime in the 1860’s. During a trip to Missouri in 1993, my children and I went to the genealogy department at the Missouri University. There we found two women who had the name of Laura Hopkins, born in the mid 1800’s. After further research I was able to meet with someone who had knowledge of the “Hopkins” and the farm land that belonged to them. This led me to the gravesite of ‘Laura Hopkins’ who died in 1954.
Although this incident has little to do with ‘cowboys and indians’ I did once have a Michael Channel tell me that I had a past life where I cooked meals for Billy the Kid and in that lifetime I was a horse shaman.
