Currently I am obsessed with vintage stores and buying stuff off of eBay. The look is turning out to be something like a bohemian librarian, and don’t ask me where it started because I’m not certain. It was probably these great pair of brown suede boots I picked up recently. Those were added those to my collection and it evolved from there.

I went shopping today and let myself go wild as long as I followed one rule: NO BUYING ANYTHING BLACK. I stuck to this, unless you count the bag I bought to keep my schoolbooks in, which I don’t.

1. Incorporating more color into my wardrobe. Black is boring when it’s ALL THE TIME.

2. Cut and dyed my hair. I am no longer a redhead for the time being. It’s dark and dramatic (but not black) and I love it.

3. Shopping! For some reason I hate hate hate shopping alone but since I don’t really have anyone to come with me these days (I have a weird schedule), I’m forcing myself to do so. Maybe today, even.

Every now and then, a little reinvention of sorts is in order. Tomorrow, I’m trying out a new haircut. Tuesday, I plan on going through many of my clothes and seeing what I need to get rid of and what I need to alter and add my own personal touches to. Some time next week I’m also planning on finishing up the color on my tattoo and getting my nose pierced. Like the subject line says, it’s time.

I feel like I’ve been muting my style a bit these past few years. E has really brought this to my attention. I’m always talking about how I want to do this and I wish I could do that, and he came out and said, “Well, why don’t you then?” Good point.
