I am super lucky. I live near the beach and get to see many sunsets on the water. Great opportunity to see the flash, right? Well, patience is a virtue I guess, as 5 years have gond by an no flash. Patience.

One of the special treats about sunsets in San Diego is seeing the green flash just before the sun dips below the horizon. I forget how many things that seemed “normal” to me were quite unique.
Saw the green flash while out on a catamaran ride in Dominica. I’d heard about it before, but never seen it. It was greener and flashier than I expected — very vivid.
Should really try again, it’s been a long time—either way this is an awesome picture of it fron the astronomy pic of the day: http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap021110.html

I’ve seen it during a sunset over Lake Travis in Texas. It is just a small little event, but nice to see.
Simple. I’ve never seen it. I don’t know anyone who has seen it. I’ve heard about it. Damnit, I want to see it! ;)
Got Papi? (Papacito) is headed back to Microsoft! :D
Wasn’t all that impressive, but I understand it can be amazing on other days in other circumstances.
I want to see it again, because when I saw it, it was really quite minimal and underwhelming.
I was in Hawaii for the last New Year and apparently missed a great “green flash”.. I had never heard of one before until that night that everybody was talking about how good it was on that particular evening..
All I know is that the next time I go to Hawaii I will be watching every sunset over the ocean during my stay in hopes that I too will see that gorgeous green flash!
