Libby is procrastinating
This morning I watched Demonic (aka Forest of the Damned) and When Evil Calls. They were both horror films, which isn’t really my genre, but I thought they were well executed (no pun intended). I had read some terrible reviews, but I thought both were perfectly decent. I’m planning to see some more indies, but I don’t think I’ll watch these again.

it used to be cinematic entertainment was all i could think about. i felt destined to go into movie making.
what can i say? things just inevitably change. i haven’t found a film i’ve been over the moon about seeing since probably…i don’t know…?

...was tonight’s film, an independent little gem set in Glasgow. While I thoroughly enjoyed it, I was reminded why I try to avoid watching good indy movies about love…. Somewhere, it stops being the night’s lighthearted entertainment, and morphs into the dangling carrot I have serious doubts of ever being able to reach…
