How I did it: I don't know if it just comes with the territory of being tall, but I've always struggled with achieving the same v-sit, touch-your-head-to-your-knee flexibility of my shorter counterparts. All the same, when I took up going to the gym regularly late this past winter and stretching faithfully after my workouts, it didn't take too long and - surprise to me! - I could touch my toes.In truth my flexibility comes and goes with how regularly I… Read how I did it…

How I did it: Well, I used my brain and thought up an excersise to be able to touch my toes. I used my grandmas excersise machine that you have to push on to do and reached to the floor instead of going across. I'm not fat if you're wondering why I couldn't touch my toes. It's just that I'm really tall for my age. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I tired EVERYTHING, and I couldn't seem to touch my toes, until one day, I sat on the floor, grabbed my feet with my knees bent, and just push my legs forward without letting go. Each time I did it, I got farther, and Farther! Read how I did it…

Whenever I do this it feels really good to be able to stretch this far and gives me a small sence of acomplishment.
tibor00 is supposed to be working, but you know how it is
I seem to have hit a wall at my ankles that I just can’t get past. I’m going to have to find a way past it if I’m going to be successful here.
I have been stretching twice a day when I can. There have been several days that I haven’t stretched due to work schedule. I have been using a routine that my kids Karate coach gave me. Pretty basic. Doing the stretches while watching TV for 30 minutes or so. I am now able to touch my right toe while sitting on the floor but still 8-10 inches from touching my toes in a standing/bent over position. Left leg real tough to get any results, probably due to the back injury I have/had. Next entry in a week or two.
I’ve had poor flexibility for years. I am in good shape and fairly athletic but I’m not able to come close to touching my toes (straight legs arms hanging down and I’m 12 inches from my toes). I had back surgery 3 years ago and my hamstrings have been very tight ever since. After having my left hamstring go into spasm twice today, I decided to set this goal. My plan is to stretch twice a day to start. I am no expert on stretching but I’m gonna do some research and give it my best shot. I’ll try to reach my goal of touching my toes in 3 months. I’ll update as I go…....
Boy am I hurting now. By mid august I should have no trouble with this if I keep it up.

at work all the time when my legs start to hurt from standing up so much.
maybe i’m just weird… oh well
Have taken to stretching calves by leaning forward on my road bike from time to time. We’ll see if it works.
