Just downloaded Google Sketch 6. Something I’ve always thought about. When the day comes that I have saved up enough to build my own house… then I’ll be ready!

I’m thinking japanese style, very efficient in terms of space. You know, with walls you can move, so i could have a small living room and a bigger playroom when i have kids, and when i wanted a bigger living room, i could just slide the wall around to make part of the playroom into the living room.
I also am definitely going to put some solar panels and geothermal energy, and live completely off the grid.
And i want a room that’s a circle (or at least an ellipse, i’m not picky), maybe for my living room.

my dad is an architect and has done this twice now. my parent’s are in the process of selling the first house he designed while building the next. it amazes me as i see every step of it. and it only makes me more excited to do this. and i pretty much love the fact that my career while be so closely related to my dad’s. and the house is beautiful. especially the 100’s of holes i drilled in the studs.
