How I did it: We went up on a hot air balloon over Luxor, Egypt. The Hod Hod Air Balloon company is the most experienced company in the area. Safety was definetly an issue because my 13 year old son was with me. The team that had prepared the balloon sang a song as we floated into the barely lite sky. My eyes filled with tears at the beauty before me. We drifted for over an hour, then landed softly. The view was spectacular, the experience unforgettable. |

I was okay with the ascent until a certain point. At which point I decided I was really going to get off NOW, but…it was too late.
I loved the quiet. It was really cold. And we watched the sun come up which was really spectacular.
Am I glad I did it? Yes.
Would I do it again? Uhhhhhhhhhhh….maybe.
