lose the accent

Though I don’t speak with a funny thick accent, I really want to get rid of my local accent completely til it becomes unrecognizable.

Its not that i hate my accent or anything but its hard sometimes for me to just speak, although i tend to me more of the quiet side, but its hard for people to get what im saying because of my accent. I mean sometimes i talk fast, especially when im nervous [i.e. teachers calling on me for answers/ project presentation when i dont want to talk and i get all nervous]. Some people like accents and all but sometimes its kinda annoying. Ish.

I love foreign languages and I hate my accent. That’s it. I once thought I could lose it, but I fear I never will.
