Brew my own beer (good beer)

I have 4 batches of beer under my belt so far (2 bottled and pretty much gone, one still bottle conditioning and one in secondary) as well as a batch of hard cider (apfelwein) and 3 batches of mead (two of which are not ready yet).
I highly recommend doing this, I’ve become quite enamored with the entire process from recipe creation to brewing methods. After 5-8 more batches I’d like to try my hand at doing an all-grain brew. I’ve given a lot of it away to friends / family and everyone seems to like it so far. Everything I’ve made to date has gotten rave reviews by everyone that has tasted it.
Everyone that I’ve talked to says to save a few bottles of every batch and let it age for as long as you can stand it so I’ve been “hiding” at least 4 bottles of everything in my basement for a rainy day. 4 years ago

I’ve made a few batches of beer thus far and two have been pretty mediocre, one downright toxic, and one pretty damn good! I’d like to get better. 4 years ago

I’d like to learn to make some good beer. My wife bought me a kit in 2002 and I have yet to try it (yeah, I need some new ingredients) I’ve read a few books on the subject but have yet to take the plunge. 4 years ago
