I dream a lot of random things but recently due to a close relatives death I have had dreams of their living and dreams after the death, or even sometimes where they die then days later are alive with the same complications but a better solution and is getting well, which sometimes makes me believe they are still alive the moment I wake up only to be brought back to reality a few short minutes after. The thing is after I awake from my dreams the entire day is a disappointment. I’m considering talking to a therapist about it. a few times I’ve dreamed a relatives death before hand(not in any way am I anticipating I am or have any related psychic ability, if I even believed in it)

The only reason I don’t completely understand my dreams is that my life doesn’t make sense. Dreams in terms of aspirations are understandable in terms of the essential value of the desired situations. Individual dreams are not rational if they do not make a rational impression. Symbolic elements are understood or the meaning is arbitrary. There’s a lot of gray and smog in my dreams lately, and its not very heartening, but some things have value and some don’t, and my dreams don’t always imply that all is well. I’ve come to accept that.

My mother thinks I’m being too public about my dreams and other inward things, but the way I see it the internet isn’t as genuine if people don’t share themselves, or at least the thinking feeling aspect.
I regularly post interpretations of my dreams at my blog at
The online dream dictionary I refer to is really amazing in almost every respect, and I recommend it to others:

You can look up individual dream elements in an alphabetical list. Maybe not every word you look for will be there, but the depth is excellent most of the time, and often where the first word isn’t there you can find a synonym or try a different tac.
I always used to be jealous of my friends who were interested in psychology and dreams. Now I can see that I had reason to be jealous! There are always more levels though, I’m doubtless missing out on some important issues, not just in symbolism, but in my understanding of self. The journey continues…

A fair few of my dreams make perfect sense to me either at the time, or after I wake up, despite some of the crazy stuff I include in there.
Some just seem completely random, and some seem distressing or uplifting without me understanding why.
I’m not big on dream interpretation books and all that. I think that it’s more about what different symbols mean to you than to ancient blah blahs.
I’d like to figure out why I dream about what I do. Some I can understand. If I watch television late enough and right before I fall asleep, I dream about one show or another. But other ones seem random.

This week I have a dream up for interpretation on the dreamwheel group. I have been a member for a few years and this is the first time I submitted a dream.
