Finish reading Les Miserables

Since January, I have read 636 of 1463 pages. To finish this in time (I’ve challenged myself to finish by sept. 1) I have to read 22 pages a day. Guess it’s time to get off of 43things and start reading!

and i did the signet classic unabridged version, to boot!

I started reading it before we went into production but didn’t have the time to finish. What would you recommend: unabridged or abridged? I understand reading the full work is best. Also which translation is best? I was supposed to read it in French III Honors but it was changed for Cyrano de Bergac.

I’m on page 100-something in the book “Fantine.”

I dont think I gave it a good enough press, anyone who’s not read this book yet has got to, its truly a life changing experience, deservedly a classic

I loved this book, its one of my all time favourite reads and I’ve read it a couple of times, if the story seems familiar its because its the story of the The Fugitive, like the TV series and other shows that where cloned from it, its a fantastic and very human tale,

recommended to one and all
