finish painting the house

We’ve got the kitchen, living room, and dining room done. The master bedroom is almost done, just a few places to go back over in there. The 2nd bedroom is done. Now all we’ve got is the 3rd bedroom, 2 1/2 bathrooms and the hallways.

the downstairs bathroom is officially done. floors, countertops, fixtures and now…the walls. thank you grandma for so many things, the least of which being your amazing painting skills.

It is so satisfying to finally finish this project. The hardest was by far the living room with the 20 foot ceiling, but with the right ladder and some good brushes anything is possible. The house is much warmer and inviting now rather than that hospital white and looks great with the high gloss white trim. Now on to the electrical and lighting updates. Wohoo!
