retire early

So I keep adding money, but the value doesn’t really change with the down market. At least the number of shares I own is going up, but I would like to see the market recover some more.

I’m now contributing 15% of my income. Up until a few months ago, it was only 6% (to get the maximum company match) but I’ve completed some other goals and am ready to increase this now.

I’m 20 and will soon retire! There’s a lot of PASSIVE INCOME to be made on the internet for those of you who don’t know about passive income…

Life is to short to “work”, in my opinion… I’ve worked 2 years to figure out how to make money on the internet, and now I can start a new business anytime I want.

My passion now is to help other people retire early, because it’s so hard for people to get into their mind that it’s possible to make money from not working…

With my current job I’ll be eligible to take a pension (yup a real pension) when I turn 51. It is the year that my youngest is scheduled to graduate college. I figure after having kids in college for eight years I’ll be used to living on 40% of my income!

That’s the plan at least. Work Work Work Work.

Have you got your shit straighten out yet?

We’re stashing money now. We hope to design the life and then cut back to working as little as we please in an early retirement…in our forties!

I am 29 years old and I am getting married this year. We live in Manhattan. I’m relatively sure we won’t be able to retire early with the lifestyle we want but I can always hope. Maybe I can win the lottery.
