I am spending time in Thailand with Tiwa. The first few days are spending with family, so we are not getting the alone time right now and we always have so much planned, it feels more like a marathon sometimes than a vacation. I know things will slow down eventually, but having it start this way was unavoidable since we arrived on New Years Eve. I am trying to keep my spirits high and Tiwa’s family being warm and welcoming helps. At least I don’t feel stressed and I do enjoy that!

I had always wanted to visit Europe, and found that my study abroad option during college was the most feasible financially and gave me the best opportunity to emerge myself in the culture. I haven’t been able to get back but would definitely recommend looking into volunteer or course options that might make this goal more realistic! 15 months ago
