walk my dog everyday

my poor dog, i’ve been completely neglecting her. i’d say that it’s because the weather is ridiculous hot but it’s really just because i’m lazy.

a morning walk makes for a happy, tired little beagle.

p.s. sorry to whoever steps in her poop, i forgot the bags.

i’ll consider this done after i’ve succeeded for a month (obviously there will be some days i simply can’t do it because i’m not at the house the whole day or whatever). my poor dog, i’ve made her into a seriously fat dog bed potato.

I was doing really well until I started working on the house. Now, I’m staying out in the country where the fields are overgrown and too uneven and the only road is busy with 55mph traffic. But it has a wide shoulder so we’ll be out there while the sun is shining, starting today.

So far, I’ve been pretty good about taking him out everyday. I’ve missed two days in the past 11 days which is pretty good. I had been taking him out about once a week. I just need to continue doing what I’ve been doing and I’ll have this goal achieved. I want it to become a regular habit before I say that I’ve completed this.

I used to walk my dog once a day, everyday, but over the last few months, I haven’t been doing it as much. I want to do this because its good for me, it lets me relax a little bit everyday and it makes the dog happy! Plus he’s a little overweight and needs to lose some pounds.

So, I’ve decided to try and start doing this…. So far, so good. I got home really late from work last night and I still managed to walk Borat for 20 minutes. I also walked him for 10 minutes this morning before heading off to the office. I think it’s better for him, all this walking outside. Although he did cry a bit more than usual when I left this morning….

Walking Sebastian is the easiest way to get rid of tension and feel like i’ve done something good without spending any money and he loves to explore our neighborhood. The big problem is that it’s so cold here, which I hate and he loves because he’s a newfoundland

Having been unable to do ANYTHING other than work on the house for 4 months makes even dog-walking in sub-freezing weather seem like FUN!
