Get a perm

The grass really is greener on the other side! Last year, when my hair was naturally VERY straight, I begged God for wavy hair! I kept praying and I bought shampoos, conditioners, masks, and everything I could get my hands on for curlings straight hair. Now, my hair is somewhat wavy at the ends and straight at the top part and it’s annoying! I straighten the ends, but I just want my normal, old hair back! And that’s why I want to get a straight perm.

I talked mom into doing a home perm for me. It turned out well. I like it and it only cost eight bucks and one afternoon.

Went back to having curly hair last year after having had perms back in the 80s. Glad I decided to go for it. Will never understand this obsession with staight hair.

I think hair that is “touchably soft” is more appealing than damaged hair, even if it’s curly damaged hair.

i don’t really want a perm anymore. maybe i’ll change my mind again later tho.. lol

get them all the time. But then again.. it was the 80s and I wanted that big hair!! lol

noooo .. don’t do it, you will be a slave to it and when it’s half grown out it looks sick, plus think of all those chemicals.

It’s already short and so I will have to find other creative ways to produce those beautiful ringlets with my hair.

Best thing I ever did. I don’t usually do much of anything to my hair, but I started letting it just grow awhile ago because I decided I wanted it to be really long, the problem was the longer it got the less of the natural wave I’m so used to there was. I look horrible with straight hair. I didn’t want to cut it so I permed it. I look better, and have more confidence now, strange as that may sound. My perm kind of gave me a new lease on life.
