Moose "Bork!"

Monday 9 November 4 hours ago

Feel in a happy cotton-wool holiday state… and not overly energetic! But I have done the most important thing at least.

  • 1hr swim (actually it was only about 58 mins before the alarms all started goin off and we had to evacuate… errr! Made the astoundingly stupid decision to put clothes on over my wet swimsuit and then dash home dripping through the centre of town! Hope that never happens again!) did 1K in 26min, 2K in 55.5min (ish) and 2080m altogether, then came home, showered and promptly fell asleep again!

Just going to enjoy not having any plans for the rest of the day as tomorrow I have things I must do!

Had a lovely weekend away at the lake. The forest is so quiet this time of year; the mists skim silkily over the lake; and we glimpsed a flock of wild turkeys in the field.

Ho-hum, back to city life.

  • pick up Pepper from doggy daycare
  • take Charlie to his annual cat check up
  • meal plan
  • get organized for quilting retreat this weekend
  • make dinner
  • kids’ swimming lessons tonight

is anyone else feeling excited 15 hours ago

that it’s almost a new decade?

I know, I’m a dork :)

So far the 90s were my favorite decade. The 80s and the 00s were both OK, and the 70s, from what I recall, sucked.

But I think the 10s will be the awesomest decade ever.
