drive across the United States with my closest friends

My friends and i have planned this huge road trip we want to take after High School. It is 3 months long and is all over the U.S. But… the raise in gas prices… Well, we will try at least. We have started saving and everything. It’s 3 years away… so hopefully we will have enough. I should probably get a job so i have a steady income to put into it.

but due to the rising gas prices, i’m not sure how likely this is to ever happen. i have driven to texas, and i hope to drive somewhere or other with a few friends on fall break.

but its nice to dream.
