so i recently bought a 2001 mustang bullitt, highland green :), and this past weekend i decided to go on a pony run for foster kids. i woke up saturday morning at 9:05 and the run started at 9:30 so i wasnt off to the best start but i went anyway. having never done one of these, or even owning a fast car, i wasnt sure what to expect. i pulled up to the back right before we took off for the parkway. once we were on the road driving my worries were gone. we ended in waynesville. when i saw all the mustangs side by side in the parking lot i got excited. it was great! everyone was so friendly. and there were all kinds of stangs there; cobras, roushes, mach 1s, GTs, etc. (mine was the only bullitt!) there was even a man there who had a 69 mach 1 that he bought in 1970! i’ve always loved classic cars. i had so much fun that plan on joining the brmcoa and attending a lot more events and learning as much as i can so that hopefully one day i can fix up an old mustang myself! that would be awesome.

My first car was 1969 Mustang coupe. Restoring the car was very rewarding and edicational. Now, I’m in the process of restrong a 1969 Mustang fastback.
